Registration for the 2025 Crescendo International Music Competition is now OPEN!
The Crescendo International Competition is a great opportunity to inspire and motivate young students to experience competition in a supportive and encouraging environment. It will not only enrich their music lessons as a whole but also further enhance their lives through classical music.
Crescendo International Music Competition is a youth music competition held annually since 2007 for 3 to 24-year-old students.
The Competition is open to Junior, Intermediate, and Advanced levels for all instrumentalists, vocalists, duets, and chamber ensembles.
They hold International competitions in various establishments throughout the USA, Canada, Japan, China, Italy, Austria, Korea, Germany, France and other establishments across the globe.
Registration Deadline: December 8, 2024
Audition Date: Sunday, Dec. 15, 2024.
Audition Place: Faust Harrison Piano Showroom, Fairfield, CT.
Audition Format: In-person, prerecorded, and Live via FaceTime.
The audition will be held one-on-one, one candidate at a time. For candidates who are 7 years old or younger, parents will be allowed to enter the audition room if necessary.
Who is eligible?
The Crescendo competition accepts ALL instrumental and vocal candidates from all over the world. The competition is open to people 3 years old to 24 years old.
What repertoire is accepted?
It accepts formal repertoire from the four major musical eras but please avoid method book music, simplified music, and popular music arrangements.
About the Winners:
There will be multiple winners. The candidates who win First or Second place are eligible to register to perform at Carnegie Halls and other venues for the second round. The Third-place winners will be eligible to perform at Harvard University and other venues.
